Help I'm Getting Married in Portugal (HIGM Portugal) all began in 2016 when I was planning my own wedding (that's me and my hubby in the image). It was very difficult to find information on weddings in Portugal and to find advice from previous brides and grooms who got married there.

I decided to try to bring together a group of people with the same objective; to get married in Portugal! I could never have predicted how successful it would become in such a short time.

Our Facebook group meant that for the first time, brides and grooms could chat directly with suppliers in Portugal and also chat with people planning their weddings and also those who have 'been there and done that!'

We have now expanded and incorporated this brand new website and an Instagram account where you can check out pictures and videos from our suppliers to see what suits you.
